Blur - 'The best of' |
Reviewer: Geoff In the mid-nineties, when the big Blur/Oasis was kicking off, I said that Blur were, by far, the better group. My reasoning was simple- Blur were more creative and not afraid to experiment with different styles and sounds. This proves how far Blur have come since their very first album. It is a record full of great tracks covering all sorts of musical genres from 'Song2' to 'Coffee and TV.' More than anything, this is a reminder of the times when pop-groups wrote their own songs and played their own instruments. Long may they continue. |

Moby - 'Play' |
Reviewer: Geoff This is one great album. Fantastically entertaining from start to finish for many different reasons. There are moments of true beauty, poignant sadness and heavy, hardcore dance-rock - what more could you possibly want? |

Phil Spectre's Christmas Album |
Reviewer - Paul Classic Christmas tunes from years ago but the quality ones! The tunes you know from all those US films that are set around Christmas time. With so many Christmas albums now available, the search for a shining star could be tricky, but let me be your guiding angel. BUY THIS FOR CHRISTMAS 2000! and enjoy 'Rocking around the Christmas Tree' whilst waiting for 'Santa Claus to Come to Town' |

Mel C |
Reviewer: Geoff This is an album that I have very fond memories of - mainly because I once wrote a book listening to it over and over again (yes, I know that sound worryingly obsessive/compulsive but it was the first album I'd bought in months and it was really good). From the storming first track to the mellow finale it is both varied and very listen-to-able. Great! |
